Torchwood and Blink

So now that I have seen a whole whopping episode of Torchwood, I have to thank all the talented fanfic writers out there who absolutely nailed the characters! I knew each one already--except for Suzie (I guessed she was a goner since she wasn't in any stories at all)--even as the first scene opened!
Favourite Brtishism from the mouth of the American: eestrogen. In the US we pronounce it Esstrogen. I think I could listen to Jack say eestrogen about a hundred more times.
I did wonder what BBCA would do about the language; the clips I'd sneaked on Youtube had real potty mouths on them. I liked the idea of the F word uttered from the dirty mouth of the Captain, but alas, I never did think I'd get to hear it on BBCA :-)
Of course, knowing what those bastards did to the Christmas Invasion, I wonder what I missed in Everything Changes. Notes?
I went browsing through Cafe Press today and discovered many lovely things. Like a sticker and this shirt and this one and of course this one.
Which naturally leads me to gush about Blink. That has got to be my most favourite episode of Doctor Who. (Ha! Semagic just made me spell favourite with the 'U'). Anyway, it is now my favourite *non shippy* episode. It was a great story and had plenty of Doctor (unlike Love & Monsters, which had an okay story and nowhere near enough Doctor) and oh, dear me some super hot hotness with the wardrobe and the hair and the quiver. And it was so creepy. I knew it would be. It was all I could do not to whimper all the way through. I only stopped so my husband would keep watching with me. It was scary, those angels sneakin' about. Eek. I am shocked I didn't have a nightmare last night! But, any review of Series Three would be incomplete without a whine about how much better this story would've been with Rose. Imagine what they could've got up to in 1969! Gosh!
I am really just in fangirl heaven lately with all this loveliness broadcast each week into my home. -squee-
