Grammar spasm

Laying is not the same as lying!
Laying takes a direct object. If one lays, there must be something laid, like an egg, a piece of toast, or one's self. She cannot be "laying in a chair" and he cannot be "laying on the floor."
Unless it was yesterday. Yesterday, or three hundred years ago, "She lay on that chair and slept and thought of jam on toast." After he fixed his pretty blue box, he lay on the floor to contemplate toast.
But whether we're in a delightful Snow Patrol song, or just immersed in fandom, I still cannot and will not "lay here and just forget the world." Why? Because it's just wrong. Wrong! And it throws me out of fic every time, and I never know if I should just get all picky and tell the author.
So, to sum up: I lay my hat on the bed. She lays an egg of glorious wonder at his feet. He's laying his heart bare for her to dissect. And... They lie together on the sand, legs entwined. She lies on the bed, her arms cradling her head. He's lying on the floor of the TARDIS, trying desperately not to remember the sight of her in a bikini.
GET IT?!?! Please. I wish I could just spam the world with this.

Srsly? How do you say this in Russian?

How does one say , "How stupid do you think I am?" in Russian?
Because I now have 2 new friends who seem to post only in Russian. Why on Earth would they want to friend me?
I am just about a hair's breadth away from going Friends Only, but I guess it will have to wait until I can do a FO banner in Russian!

I DON"T WANT TO KNOW:
Episode titles. They'll pop RIGHT UP on the fracking screen when the dratted show comes on! THEN I will know!
Guest Stars: This information will be clear once it is clear. No need to spend weeks fantasizing.
Trailer stuff: I avert my eyes. This series is the first time I have and it is just because I have so little to look forward to until 2010!! Come on, cut me some slack here! I just want to drag out the suspense and the joy!
I even get the whole idea that if I find out something early that it actually allows me more time in my life to spend wallering in the information. I get that. I do. I just want to control when I waller. That's all. Please!
So. Not that I read my F-List much but if you wanna bandy about Episode Titles? Do in without putting them in the title of your post, please?! If you wanna spoil the rest of the world about everything in the entire show? Fine! Put it behind a cut and keep the content out of the Subject line!!
